Syncing IMAP Folders with Thunderbird

So far I've been very happy with Birdiesync, however there's a problem that I just cannot seem to solve:
When synchronizing an IMAP emailaccount (gmail), birdiesync creates the whole structure of the folders, but adds a "t-" in front of the name. Which would be fine if you do not intend to to also access the imap account from your smartphone because if you do, then you also get the 'normal' (=correct) structure of the folder since pocket outlook creates them.
So in the end, you basically have all your folders TWICE, one copy as it should be and another set with the "t-" prefix.
Is there a solution to this, or is this intended?
