My contacts disappear in my phone

Hi,

I am using Thunderbird version 3.0.6 and BirdieSync 2.0.1.6.

I am able to sync my events and tasks no problem. My issue is with the contacts.
Once synchronized, I go to my phone and there appears to be nothing. Not one name.

The phone is a samsung SGH-i637 and it's using Windows Mobile.
Please note that I've tried synchronizing several times. I even created a different address book in Thunderbird with a smaller list of contacts and still nothing.

Can you please help me out?

Kindly,

Alan

Hello Alan,

In BirdieSync "History" tab, are all your contacts supposed to be created during the synchronization ?
What is the number of synchronized contacts displayed in the "Activation" tab ?
Do you have unresolved items after the synchronization ?
How many address books did you selected for synchronization ?
If you soft reset your mobile device (reboot it), do your contacts reappear on your mobile device ?
Thanks.

Hi again,

Thanks for the quick response:

1.In BirdieSync "History" tab, are all your contacts supposed to be created during the synchronization ?
yes, they are being created during synchronization

2. What is the number of synchronized contacts displayed in the "Activation" tab ?
11

3. Do you have unresolved items after the synchronization ?
no

4. How many address books did you selected for synchronization ?
just one. I created a test address book with a small number of contacts for testing purposes

5. If you soft reset your mobile device (reboot it), do your contacts reappear on your mobile device ?
no, nothing

Thanks a lot,

Alan

When you reconnect your mobile device and synchronize again, is the number of 11 contacts still displayed in the Activation tab at the end of the synchronization ? Are no contacts synchronized (meaning that no contacts were modified on both sides) ? If yes, it would mean that BirdieSync still "see" the contacts on the mobile device although you don't for some reason...

Did you check that you didn't filter the displaying of contacts on the mobile device ? (ensure in Pocket Outlook that "Menu/Filter/All contacts" is selected)
Thanks.

I did a complete reboot of my phone and it worked
I think that something happens during the installation.

Now everything works fine and I'm loving it.
Waiting for some cash in order to purchase the licenses version
