Hi Birdie ;
When I synchronize my HTC, I have sometimes confirmation windows on the computer (for exemple when I deleted contacts in Thunderbird).
So I need to be in front of the computer to confirm, to finish the synchro.
How can I do that if I synchronize my smartphone far from my computer ( 3G+)?

Yes by now, confirmation windows are only present on the desktop. So it could be a problem if you try to synchronize and are not near the desktop computer if you use a 3G connection. Maybe it will be improved in the future. By now, you may increase the threshold of deleted events before you are asked for confirmation in BirdieSync synchronization options (but I am not sure it's a good idea to increase this threshold).
