Hello otraver,

In BirdieSync settings on your Android device, which accounts did you select for synchronization ?
Which account is selected as the DEFAULT one ?
Did you select BirdieSync account or another account ?
Did you uninstall BirdieSync on your Android device before installing version 2.3.4.1 ? (it is not recommended to do it because Android automatically deletes the associated BirdieSync account) If yes, it is recommended to RESET mobile device synchronization to avoid propagating the deletions from the Android device to the desktop.
Thanks.

If you selected BirdieSync as the default account and you get this error message this is not normal since it should be possible to create calendars in BirdieSync account.

Right after you have the synchronization error, could you send your logs to support ?
First, transfer the mobile device log to the desktop with "Help/Transfer mobile device log" while your mobile is connected.
Then build the log archive BirdieSyncLog.zip with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs..." and send it to support(at)birdiesync.com.
Thanks.

Finally I un-installed BS in both devices (android and laptop) and, today, I installed the 2.3.5.1 of the laptop version of BS and I donwloaded the last version from the android market but in the market the actual version is v2.3.4.1. Is this OK?
My calendar in Thunderbird is named as "Mack"
In the android device my settings as:

Code: Select all

Contacts:
pcsc (com.htc.android.psc)  deactivated
myuser@gmail.com (com.google) activated with 409 contacts

Events:
Phone  -> deactivated, 0 event
myuser@gmail.com (com.google) -> activated, 12 events
Birdiesync (com.callicia.birdiesync) -> activated, 0 events
PC Sync (com.htc.pcsc) -> activated, 1 events
When I create one event in my android calendar app, I only can select between myuser@gmail.com or PC Sync
I created one event in both calendars (gmail and PC Sync) but no one is synchroniced with thunderbird in my laptop.
However when I created one event in Thunderbird and after synchronice then the "Mack" calendar is appeared in the calendar selection when I create one event in android and now I can sync the events created in "Mack" android calendar.
It's normal?

Yes it is. Last version of the Android market should always be compatible with last desktop version.
I created one event in both calendars (gmail and PC Sync) but no one is synchroniced with thunderbird in my laptop.
In which calendar did you create this event ? Did you have a calendar with the same name in Thunderbird and did you select this calendar to be synchronized in BirdieSync options ? If not, events will not be synchronized.
However when I created one event in Thunderbird and after synchronice then the "Mack" calendar is appeared in the calendar selection when I create one event in android and now I can sync the events created in "Mack" android calendar.
It means that "Mack" calendar was selected to be synchronized in BirdieSync options. So if you now create an event in this calendar on your Android device, it will be synchronized on the desktop.

Now a final question since it seems there is some confusion regarding the way events are synchronized:
If you have a calendar with name B on the Android device, while only calendar A was selected to be synchronized in Thunderbird BirdieSync options, would you have expected that all events of B would be synchronized in calendar A even if the calendar names are different ? (this is not the case today: events in calendar B are not synchronized)

At moment that I created this event (before create one event in Thunderbird and sync it) only 2 calendars appears: "gmail" and "PC Sync"

Yes, once I have created one event in Thunderbird "Mack" calendar and synchroniced it then I can select as "Mack" as default in the android event creation.
Now a final question since it seems there is some confusion regarding the way events are synchronized:

Is not this case. I have the "A" calendar created in TB. After install BS in both devices (laptop and android), before any operation with Birdiesync, the "A" calendar don't exist in android device. When I created 2 events, one in "gmail" calendar, and the second in "PC Sync" calendar (remember that "A" calendar still does not exist in android) and I synch both the "A" calendar still does not exist.
I thing that the problem is: If you haven't any event created in "A" thunderbird calendar before install BS in both devices the "A" calendar don't exist in the android device.
However, after one event is created in "A" TB calendar and you sync with BS then you can select "A" as the default calendar. While not creating a first event in the "A" TB calendar, "A" calendar can not be selected to create an event in the android device because "A" calendar don't exist, only exist "gmail" and "PC Sync"

Buuuff, I hope I've explained it best possible my English is not too good.

Best regards

If you haven't any event created in "A" thunderbird calendar before install BS in both devices the "A" calendar don't exist in the android device.
That is correct. Do you mean that you would have like BirdieSync to automatically create the calendar A on the Android device if it was selected to be synchronized in BirdieSync options in Thunderbird and had no events in Thunderbird ?
And you didn't expect events in calendar like gmail calendar, PC Sync to be synchronized in "Mack" calendar ?
