Are there plans for BirdieSync to support Windows mobile 7x.x?

This question has come up before, and apparently in the first release of WP7 it wasn't possible.

But now with Mango, and the numerous additions to the SDK etc, it is a reasonable question again.

I don't want to use Android for my phone, how wonderful it might be over time. Or an iPhone....

My best bet for now is WP7 as well, but syncing to TB is a no-brainer for adopting the platform....

I'm hoping to move to WM7 but need to sync with Thunderbird.

Come on please, I'm happy to pay another licence fee.

Cheers

With the evolutions of Mango it may be possible to provide a solution for Windows Phone 7 (it was not possible before because of all the limitations of the SDK). So a solution may be provided in the future but I have no official schedule to communicate at the moment.

Unfortunately, it seems there are still severe limitations with Mango and the last SDK 7.1 (Software Development Kit). If some limitations of the previous SDK 7.0 no longer exist (it was not possible to communicate with a desktop PC and to access contacts and events), it is now only possible to access contacts and events in "read only" mode. So it's not possible to create, modify or delete them. Furthermore the view of events is limited: it's only possible to retrieve the occurrences of a recurring event and not the original recurring event with its recurrence rule. So because of these important restrictions of the official SDK, by now it doesn't seem possible to synchronize Windows Phone devices yet...
