Hello Birdie.
I found another issue, I have a calendar event repeating every week on my Thunderbird. After synchronization to android it turned out, that the event is repeated everyday. I replaced all contacts on mobile and the result is the same.
The only change between this event and previous events is that it was send from MS Office.

Any thoughts on this ?

I tried to reproduce the problem but didn't succeed. Here is what I did:
- Create an event in Thunderbird, setting only a new title and choosing "Weekly" as recurrence (no customization)
- Synchronize it on the Android device
The event created on the Android device was a weekly event.
Would have step by step operations that I could follow to reproduce the problem ?
