Hello ,

I made a contact at thunderbird with a birthday with the year 1900 because that i didn't now from that person.
Today i asks for the year and change it at thunderbird to 1966.
I did start sync to my windows mobile 6.1 and the data = not changed.
i looked at the log from birdie and nothing at the log.

Thank you for reporting this problem. It could be reproduced. Actually it happens if you replace a date before 1970 with another date before 1970: the modification is not detected and so the contact is not synchronized to the mobile device.
By now the workaround is to set your date after 1970, synchronize your contact, set it back to a date before 1970 and synchronize it again.
The fix was done and will be integrated in a next version (but not necessarily the next one).
