No more sync with Android since V2.4.0.0

Since updating to V2.4.0.0 no sync with my Android smartphone is possible any more. Connection from smartphone to PC always fails. I noticed that Birdiesync now uses another IP address with my PC (192.168.56.1 instead 192.168.0.2). BirdieSync on my smartphone finds the new IP address but cannot connect to the PC server.
Any ideas?
PS: I use the latest Thunderbird version 12.0.1.

Hello Stef,

In BirdieSync settings on Android, do you use a hostname which is then resolved to the IP adddress ?
What is the current IP address of your PC ?
If you temporarily disable your firewall (wait 1mn after that) and try to reconnect, does it work better ?
Same question if you restart BirdieSync on the desktop (menu File/Exit then relaunch it with Windows Start menu/All programs/BirdieSync/BirdieSync).
If you enter "192.168.0.2" in BirdieSync settings on Android, does it succeed in connecting ?

I tried again with manual set IP address to 192.168.0.2 and it works now again. Thanks.
But I noticed the following error with BirdieSync:
BirdieSync PC (server) shows TWO IP addresses 192.168.0.2 AND 192.168.56.1.
IPCONFIG on PC shows that only 192.168.0.2 is the correct WLAN IP address. 192.168.56.1 is Ethernet adapter VirtualBox.
BirdieSync on Android tries always to connect to 192.168.56.1 if configured to search for PC server IP address and connection fails.
