BirdieSync

I've been trialling BirdieSync (2.4.6.0) with S Planner on my Galaxy S3 Mini and quite like it .. but, of course, there's always something that nags away at you...

It seems to be the case that BS takes the 'birthday' field from my Address Book and adds a repeating event to the Lightning calendar. Of course this event is then synced to the S Planner. I wonder if it's possible to stop BS syncing specific fields, in particular the 'birthday' one? I already have some - but not all - birthdays added as repeating events in the calendar because they are important. I now find that these are duplicated in the calendar.

Any help appreciated...

Update: on further thought, maybe this is nothing to do with BirdieSync. Perhaps it's an issue with S Planner which I've now ditched in favour of a different app. BS seems to work well and so far there are no problems...
