Better Calendar program than Samsung SPlanner?

I have just "upgraded" from a Samsung S3 phone to a Samsung Note 4. BirdieSync is operating perfectly, but the ergonomics of the Samsung calendar program S Planner is much worse than on my older Samsung. Has anyone a suggestion for an Android calendar program that allows good view customization?
