How do I stop Sync from deleting eralier events on PC?

I have only just realised that sync has been deleting old events on my PC, when syncing to my iPhone. I want to keep them for reference.
I can't find a way to configure this. The 'Preview of sync operations' panel says I should 'reset synchronization'. I can't find out how to do this. Searches suggest that I should "reset the event synchronization in BirdieSync Activation tab on the desktop"
Trouble is, that I can't find an Activation tab.
Please tell me where it is.

Regards, John

Hello John,

Actually the reference for an Activation tab was for BirdieSync 2.x version, and not 3.0 version. In the latter, to reset the synchronization, you should open Configuration view, select the source in "Sources" column, select "Events" in Contents, select the calendar whose synchronization you want to reset (the iPhone calendar for instance), and click on the menu button with the circular arrow with the point, and select for instance "Combine this calendar with calendars from other sources". But do not do it by now. Combining again events could possibly create duplicates and I would like to check first the reasons of these deletions.
While your iPhone is connected and after you cancelled the synchronization, could you please build a log archive with menu "Help/Archive logs..." ? Then send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com
Thanks.
