Hello hqc001,

Did you check that your anti-virus hasn't put BirdieSync.exe in quarantine ?
Sometimes, the virus database definition changes and it can lead to a "false positive".

Which antivirus do you use ?
What are the versions of your your antivirus and its virus definition database ?
Please, check that you have the latest version of your anti-virus program and its virus definition database.

Note that you can always check a file with http://www.virustotal.com to ensure it's a false positive (more than 60 anti-virus will check the uploaded file).

Thanks for your answer.

Indeed Avast put Birdiesync.exe in quarantine infected by IDP.ALEXA.51.
Version Avast 18.6.2349
VirusDB 180903-0

Virustotal declares file clean.

BirdieSync executables 3.2.1.2 and 3.2.0.1 have been submitted to Avast to be whitelisted. I'll see if they give any feedback.

Avast accepted to whitelist last versions of BirdieSync executables. Let me know if you still have troubles.

Hi Birdy,
last time Avast updated Birdiesync was not rejected, so it's OK now.

Thanks to you
