unresolved item

Post by Justus »

Hey
since december 2007 I have an unresolved item. It occured first time when I changed some appointments in the new year (2008). I can not identify the unresolved item. The only hint I can give is, that it might have something to with an reoccuring appointment. The Sync seems to work dispite the fact AS shows an error. What I tryed until now:
  • - I exported the calendar, deleted it in Thunderbird and deletet the pim.vol on the mobile. Then I did an import of the ICS-File.
    - I hardresettet the device
    - I updated BirdieSync after I deleted all calendars in Thunderbird and did an hardreset on the device
.

I am using BirdieSync on:
Windows XP Prof SP2, ActiveSync 4.5, BirdieSync v1.6.6.0, Thunderbird v2.0.0.9, Lightning v0.7
Mobile:
Windows Mobile 5 on HP iPAQ HX2790b (128 MB RAM)

I´ll send the LOGs right now.
Best regards,
Justus
I am using BirdieSync on:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64, BirdieSync v2.3.2.2, Thunderbird v3.1.10, Lightning v1.0b2

Hello Justus,

I analyzed the log (especially DeviceProvider.log). You have a recurring event whose recurrence ends on the 2007/12/30. But it also have a deleted occurrence on the 2008/01/08 which should be impossible since this occurrence happens after the recurrence end. If Lightning/Sunbird is permissive, Pocket Outlook is not...

I recommend you to delete this event in Lightning/Sunbird or to redefine the recurrence end after the 2008/01/08. This event was defined on the 2007/10/30 at 18:00-20:00.
If you want more information about this event, have a look to DeviceProvider.log.

Thanks a lot! That made it! But to be fair; I am sure I would not have found out that myself cause it is so simple....
