Hello,
I'm getting the 'error while registering desktopprovider.dll - please check you have admin rights etc.' message when trying to install BirdieSync 1.6.8.0 on XP with TB 2, Lightning 0.7, ActiveSync 3.8 and full admin rights.
Any ideas?

Hello,
Right after the installation error, could you send me DesktopProvider.log and Install.log located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<users name>\Application Data\BirdieSync\Log\
(Application Data is a hidden folder: in explorer window, you must check the option "Show hidden files and folders")

Have checked the directory you mentioned but 'install.log' does not contain anything (0KB) and 'DesktopProvider.log' does not appear to exist...
