Hi Birdy and all,
Birdy, is there a plan to support SeaMonKey in BirdieSync ?

Re: BirdieSync and SeaMonKey
After having installed and tested it, great app, it appears that it is not possible to extend its functionalities with add-ons... So BirdieSync could not work with it I think ...

Re: BirdieSync and SeaMonKey
After documenting a bit and asking on the dedicated forum, extending Seamonkey capabilities with addons is something perfectly possible ...
So Birdy, comment on this subject ?

Re: BirdieSync and SeaMonKey
With the upcoming version 2.0 of SeaMonKey which will have a addon manager as Thunderbird, it could be possible to make BirdieSync SeaMonKey compatible as it also use the same type of extensions.
Birdy, even if you apparently do not plan to support it officially, (as you do not answer to this topic) will there be an unofficial way to make this possible ?

Hello,
The problem is that BirdieSync is only compatible with Lightning and Sunbird. And I think that SeaMonkey use a different calendar extension. I saw there was some attempts to support Lightning in SeaMonkey but it doesn't really seem official and maybe would need a special version of Lightning.

Re: BirdieSync and SeaMonKey
Oh yes, I did not think about the calendar part, probably because I don't use it VERY OFTEN.
But as far as I know, the sunbird extension will be abandonned to be integrated in thunderbird 3.0 and perhaps a future SeaMonKey suite release.
And for the Address book, the part I'm mostly interested in, will there be a solution ?
