Changing phone

I expect to change carrier and phone in the near future (or at a minimum have to reformat my phone to factory settings before switching to the new carrier).

I assume that the license can be transferred over, but I would like to confirm it before I buy BirdieSync. If necessary I can always wait until I got my new phone/carrier.

Also, since Lightning is likely to go up in version quite often as it stabilizes to 1.0 over the next few months... will I have to buy a new license of BirdieSync for each version? Or are upgrades included in the price?
