first time when birdiesync was installed synchronization passed without trouble and that was last successful sync.
from that time all finished with "attention required" massages.
i did check everything from f.a.q. document.

The error returned here indicates a potential connection problem with the mobile...
Did you try to soft reset your device and then reconnect it ?
You could also try to restart ActiveSync with this little software:
http://micrologics.co.uk/library/ast/
Did you try to disable your firewall if you have one ? There could be interferences with ActiveSync.
Another possibility is to install ActiveSync 4.5 beta 2. It is supposed to correct USB connection issues and many users are happy with it...

Did you try to delete the ActiveSync partnership and recreate it ?
Could you send me the following log files (support@birdiesync.com) ?
Right after the problem, without restarting any process (Thunderbird for instance) and without disconnecting your mobile to avoid the overwriting of the logs, please, could you send me the following logs:
On the device in \Program Files\BirdieSync: DeviceProvider.log and BirdieWatcher.log (if present)
In C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\ : WCESMgr.log
Could you also send me your Preferences.xml file located in C:\Program Files\BirdieSync
If case you have problem in copying "DeviceProvider.log" on the device because of a sharing violation:
On your device. Launch the file explorer. Go to \Program Files\BirdieSync. Copy and paste DeviceProvider.log on the device(not on the desktop) in the same directory . That should duplicate the file DeviceProvider.log to another file named "Copy of DeviceProvidere.log". This copy will not be locked and you should be able to copy it to the desktop.
Thanks.

Hi,
I do have a similar problem.
BirdieSync worked fine once.
I installed it this evening and everything was fine. Then I reinstalled Win XP, Thunderbird and Lightning.
When I create a connection I can activate tasks, cards and events to sync with my mobile.
But when the synchronization starts only the taskes are listed and the message "attention required" appears.
I already tried AS 4.5b, but it did not work either.
In the 'options menu' under Tools the whole outlook stuff is greyed out, but I can only check favorites, files, tasks and media. There is no check box for cards and events.
Please help me to get this nice tool running again!
Regards

Hello,
It doesn't seem the same problem (I will very likely split this post, don't be surprised).
I will need some log files to investigate your problem.
Could you send me them as described in this thread ?
Thanks.

When I tried to sync my tasks my OS crashed (Bluescreen). After that the problem disappeared and the synchronisation works fine...
