timezone

Post by ronenbn »

Hi,

We have just moved into DTS in Israel (Jerusalem).
In order to keep my time correctly on my PDA (Asus 696) I need to shift into
Amman time zone since the GPS is changing my time to the previous one.

Now, all my appointments are correct, and the PDS is fine. However, although
I changed my Thunderbird's timezone to Amman, all my appointments are now
shifted and are one hour earlier then they appear on my PDA (after syncing!).
If I change on my Thunderbird back to Jerusalem, they all shift to the correct time, but then BirdieSync (via ActiveSync) won't sync, letting me know there's offset and it cannot synchronize and I need to match the timezones.

Please H-E-L-P

Thanks
Ronen,
Israel

Hello ronenbn,

When you have selected the "Amman" time zone in Thunderbird and edit an appointment in Lightning, do you have a difference regarding the start and end times when compared with what is displayed in the monthly view ?
Same question for the "Jerusalem" time zone ?
Which time zone do you have on your computer (defined for Windows) ?
Which time zone do you have on your mobile device ?
Thanks.
