Compatibility with Samsung processors

If BirdieSync 1.x constantly replaces your girlfriend's phone number with your mother's one, this forum is for you...

Compatibility with Samsung processors

Post by giorgio »

Could you please let me know if BirdieSync was compatible with the Samsung S3C6400 processor (I've read that it had an ARM "core", so I guess it should be...).

I'm looking into Acer's dual-sim phone, the DX900 model, http://www.acer.com/smartphone/spech1.html). Would BirdieSync have issues managing dual-sim phones?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Giorgio,

Yes, the Samsung S3C6400 processor has an ARM architecture as described here.
Note that I'm not aware of a Pocket PC or a Windows Mobile Smartphone which doesn't use an ARM processor...

At first sight, I don't see why you couldn't synchronize the DX900 as long as it runs under Windows Mobile. And if it is a Pocket PC, you generally don't have to "application unlock" it.
