Hi,
I often reflash a new ROM.
BirdieSync recognises a new Device then on the activation tab and needs a whole new resync that lasts very long.
What registry key do I have to backup for Birdiesync to recognize my device as my old device?
Regards,
Oliver
Registry keys to backup?
Re: Registry keys to backup?
Hello Oliver,
There is no registry key for that. But it may lead to problems preventing BirdieSync from detecting that the mobile device is new. Could you tell me how you restore your contacts, appointments, etc. after you install the new ROM ? Because if the configuration is not strictly identical, that could lead to problems in the synchronization. Note also that the performances may be improved in the future.
Thanks.

Re: Registry keys to backup?
Sorry for replying so late. I did not get the subscription email notification.
I use Resco Backup to restore PIM data, I guess it simply restores the file pim.vol
When there is no registry key, how does Birdiesync identify my device? The owner name stays the same...

Oliver
