"Communication Failure /w Thunderbird"

Post by Nylo »

Out of the blue I am now getting the, "Communication Failure /w Thunderbird. Please close Thunderbird and restart the application." After which it shuts down TH3.1.7 and Mozilla wants to send a crash notice.

Ive tried to resolve the issue, but no happy ending.
I can post any of the log files just let me know which one.

Thanks,
Nylo

Hello Nylo,

Did you set Thunderbird to work in off-line mode ? Does it crash when Thunderbird wants to become on-line again ?
At which moment do you have the crash of Thunderbird ?
Thanks.

Not set to "off line mode." It crashes about one second after it begins to sync.

Well, its fixed. Im not sure what I did but I think the reason was that I did not have
one of the email (outbox) checked. Still, the program should have not crashed because of this.

Do you mean in BirdieSync options, in the mail folder list ?
Was mail synchronization enabled in "Activation" tab in BirdieSync window ?
