Did you uninstall 1.3.0.2 before installing 1.4.0.3 ? If you didn't, that could have caused this problem.
Do you still have BirdieSync 1.3.0.2 setup file ?
No I didn't uninstall, there was nothing telling me to do so I don't have the installer anymore. Everything seems to be working fine it's just the extra extension in Thunderbird on the laptop and then the wrong one on the desktop machine
