Hi there
Now that I've changed all my android contacts into BS contacts, I can no longer use HTC Sync (for HTC Sensation) to get all my contacts synced with Outlook 2010 at work.
Anybody know a way to do this? (maybe using SQLlite to hack HTC Sync into looking at my BS profile on the phone?)
Unfortunately, if I can't do this, it's bye-bye birdie & TB5
Thanks

Re: can't get contacts into Outlook 2010
Hello bagshot,
A new version should be available very soon that should no longer use BirdieSync account to synchronize contacts and give you the possibility to choose the accounts you wish to synchronize. You should be able to use again HTC stock contact application and synchronize with Outlook at work.
Last testings are being performed...

Re: can't get contacts into Outlook 2010
A new beta version of BirdieSync has been released which no longer uses BirdieSync account to synchronize your contacts. So you should now be able to use the stock contact application again to manage your contacts.
For more flexibility and to still address some problems with some specific Android devices, you can now choose the accounts you wish to synchronize (Phone, Google, BirdieSync, etc.).
The beta version is available for Thunderbird 5.0:

And for Thunderbird 3.1:

Please quickly report any problem you have with this new version or comment you have. Don't wait for the official release to do it !
The release cycle is intended to be short.
Post the version of Android you use and the model of your Android device.
Thanks.

Re: can't get contacts into Outlook 2010
Hey Birdy, just a quick note to say I'm now using 2.3.4.1 and it works even better than before - Outlook now has all my contacts (via HTC Sync) at work, and I can administer my address book via Thunderbird, which is exactly how I like it.
A+++++ would buy again
