How to restrict to one Windows user account

Post by ajramsayjaneway »

I have two user accounts on my Windows 7 computer, one for me and one for my daughter. I use Birdiesync to synchronize my Thunderbird contacts with my iPod Touch. I don't want to sync the addresses from my daughter's Thunderbird contacts to my iPod. How do I control that? Or can I?

Hello Alice,

As a workaround, if you are familiar with Windows registry, you may try what is mentioned in this thread.
But I think that an option to control BirdieSync automatic starting should be provided in a future version to avoid this problem.

Hello Birdy,
I have a similar problem. On a Win7 PC BirdieSync is started automatically for the first one logged in. Following uses logging in will get a critical error message that BirdieSync is already running under another account. It would be great if you could solve this problem.

Regards,
Stefan
