				Hi there,
I want to test birdiesync on my pc, Windows Vista 64
My Handy is the HP 514 voice messenger with Windows mobile 6,
my mail-client Thunderbird 2.0.0.6, my calender Lightning 0.5.
I installed birdiesynd on the MicroSD of my phone and followed all instructions. But it refused to syncronize Tast, Contacts und Calender.
What am I missing?

				Hello,
Your mobile is a smartphone. Maybe it is application locked.
Could you give me the content of BirdieSyncInstall.log located in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp so I can check if your mobile is locked ?
(Application Data is a hidden folder: in explorer window, you must check the option "Show hidden files and folders")

Thanks for the log. The smartphone is locked.
You may refer to this
thread to know how to unlock it.
But I don't know if it is possible to "application unlock" the HP 514 voice messenger yet.

				Hi,
I unlocked my HP iPAQ 514 with the MobileRegistryEditor.zip (use Google to find a download) and followed step 3 in the "Unlock-Mobile-Howto".
After adding the 2 last Keys and a little Boot of the phone it worked (and is working) like a charme.
Have a try, it doesn't hurt

Greetings,
Manuel
