BirdieSync

My setup:

-Vista (32bt)
-Thunderbird 2.006
-Lighting 0.7
-Google Provider 0.3.1

BirdieSync: 1.6.3.2
WM5 Smartphone with l.6.3.2

Problem:
I am synchronizing my google calendar with thunderbird. I do NOT (and would not like to) use sunbird. My recurring events which show up in both my thunderbird calendar and thus (synchronized) to my google calendar, fail to synchronize to my phone.

I do not get an "unresolved item" message.
I have tested a single occurring event and it has synced fine.

As you understand it... have I done everything correctly?... and the recurring option is just NOT AVAILABLE at the moment?

I am afraid you made no mistake... After some testing, it seems there is a specific problem in the Google calendar provider which prevent BirdieSync from synchronizing recurring events.
Note also that by now, the Google calendar provider hasn't properly managed recurring events yet. For instance you cannot edit or delete the whole recurrence in Lightning/Sunbird.
