ThunderBird updates drive me crazy
I'm a quite satisfied user of BirdieSync for several years now (since 2007 I believe). However, it feels like Thunderbird comes out with an update every other day and with each Thunderbird update I must manually download and install a new version of BirdySync as well. This drives me crazy. Is there ...

Re: Annoying message from Thunderbird after update
Finally got around to re-installing BirdieSync on my second PC. It indeed solved the problem and the annoying messages and problem of having to re-start Thunderbird each time, has now disappeared.

Re: Annoying message from Thunderbird after update
Hi Birdie, Thanks for the follow up. I uninstalled BirdieSync desktop, twice even, but it doesn't solve the problem. I run Thundebird on two different PC's, sharing the same profile on my NAS (see this other topic ). Because BirdieSync doesn't seem to handle that properly (I ended up with duplicate ...

Annoying message from Thunderbird after update
Hi, After updating to Thunderbird 10.x and BirdieSync 2.3.10.1, Thunderbird keeps asking me to allow installation of the BirdieSync add-on, each time I start Thunderbird. If I allow the installation and restart Thunderbird, the problem seems to have disappeared. Until I start Thunderbird the next ti...

Re: Sync Galaxy Note with Thunderbird from 2 different PC's
Hi Peter,
Thanx for thinking along! Unfortunately in my case both PC's are in the same network, so this solution won't work for me.
Regards,
Pieter-Jan

Re: Sync Galaxy Note with Thunderbird from 2 different PC's
Hi Birdy,
Thanks for the reply. USB synchronization is fine with me; even preferable. Unfortunately I don't have the foggiest idea where I can choose between air or usb. Where can I fund such setting?
Regards,
Pieter-Jan

Sync Galaxy Note with Thunderbird from 2 different PC's
Hi, I have been using BirdieSync with a Pocket PC devcie for some time with great satisfaction. I usually work on two different workstations, with Thunderbird accessing it's profile and other data on a network share. Yesterday I treated myself to a Samsung Galaxy Note. Syncing with an Android device...

Host process for windows services has stopped working.
Ever since I upgraded from Birdiesync 1.x to 2.x (currently running 2.0.1.6 with Thunderbird 3.0.6 and Lightning 1.0b1) I frequently get a "Host process for windows services has stopped working" message along with errors in my event log referring to a faulting svchost.exe, after which Active Sync do...
