Anniversary empty in Pocket Outlook but filled in TB

Post by captain.ahab » Thu Mar 05, 2009 3:34 pm

Hello Folks!

Hardware/Software first:
HTC Touch Viva (Windows Mobile Professional 6.1)
Thunderbird 2.0.0.19
BirdieSync 1.7.1.0
MoreFunctionsForAdressBook 0.5.5.1

Synchronization works perfectly, no errors etc. The anniversary is not filled in my contacts (Thunderbird and PDA). But when I change the default phone number in my HTC Touch (e.g. from "office" to "private"), the anniversary field in Thunderbird is filled for this contact with these values: "..0" (day=blank, month=blank, year=0) after synchronization. But the anniversary field in my HTC Touch is still empty...

Is there any possibility to exclude single fields from synchronizing?

Thanks in advance an greetings from Hanover
Marc

Hello Marc,

I see your problem. You would like to have empty strings instead of "0" if the anniversary/birthday if not filled in Pocket Outlook. It should be possible to modify this behavior in a next version.
For now, it's not possible to exclude the synchronization of some particular fields.

This problem was fixed in BirdieSync 1.7.1.2.
