There is still work to be done to adapt Birdiesync to the new Windows Mobile Device Center (which is still in beta version). So BirdieSync doesn't support Vista yet.

Hi,

WMDC is out of Beta now and has been released as final. I just use BirdieSync for 2 Days at work, here at home "unfortunately" I already use Vista. Do you have any clue, when BirdieSync will be ready for Vista?

Keep up your great work!

Best regards
Marcus

Yes, the new WMDC is out and solves some problems. But BirdieSync is not yet fully compatible with the WMDC.

It's funny; this is pretty much the only reason keeping me from moving to Vista :P

Birdie 1.5.1.0 now supports Windows Vista and the new Windows Mobile Device Center. :)
Please read carefully the help to know more about the new WMDC.

Hmmm....

Installation routine under Vista informs me that ActiveSync is not installed.

Any Idea? ;)

Just to be sure. The error message was regarding ActiveSync or the Windows Mobile Device Center ? Had you installed the WMDC ?

As mentioned in the other post (Problems foru) I too have the problem and I have WMDC installed, and the latest update for it was also installed yesterday, but Birdiesync reports that Activesync is not installed (not WMDC).
