How to install BirdieSync on Vista Ultimate x64??

Hello everyone,

i need help in installing BirdieSync 1.6.10.1 with Thunderbird2.0 on Vista Ultimate x64. Thunderbird works fine
but BirdieSync stops the Installprocedure with the following Error - Message:

"Microsoft Active Sync is not installed. You must download it and install it before BirdieSync installation."

I browsed around the Forums and noticed there are some people out there which using BirdieSync on Vista x64
and it works kinda fine, so it is not impossible i think. I need some advice here

Did you download and install the Windows Mobile Device Center on your machine ?

No i didnt know it is necessary I will download it and try it out. I suggest a HowTo Section on your Mainpage.

Okay, it worked. BirdieSync installed fine. But i have to say a HowTo Section would be important.
