Calendar sync - javascript error?

Post by SteveC » Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:46 pm

Any help for a newbie please? Just installed Thunderbird (, lightning (0.9) and Birdiesync ( and have followed instructions and attempted to sync Events and Cards. Cards come across just fine but events totally fail - the sync process just sites there with '66 items to synchronise'. I've done the obligatory restarts to no avail. One suspicious error in the logs is

:[JavaScript Error: "appointmentService.getCalendarApplication is not a function" {file: "chrome://birdiesync/content/Duplicate.js" line: 94}]

any suggestions?

Hello Steve,

This error is related to another problem with the tool to remove duplicates. It shouldn't impact the synchronization.

After having closed Thunderbird/Sunbird, disconnected, reconnected your mobile device and waited for the end of the synchronization, could you send your logs with "Tools/BirdieSync/Archive logs..." to support(at) ?
