What is the procedure to install BirdieSync ?

Before installing BirdieSync and synchronizing, please check that you have a recent backup of your data. You'll find more information on how to backup your data here.

If you are under Windows XP:

You must have Microsoft ActiveSync installed on your operating system. You can download it here.

If you are under Windows Vista:

You must have Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center installed on your operating system. You can download it here.

Then you can install BirdieSync.

- Download the Setup file from BirdieSync web site.
- Connect your mobile
- Wait for the end of the synchronization
- Close Thunderbird and Sunbird
- Launch BirdieSync installer then read and strictly follow all the recommendations (especially at the end of the installation)

Caution: During the establishment of the new partnership, select "cards, events, tasks or mails". Don't select "contacts, calendar, tasks or e-mails which are Outlook categories.
